Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: September 6, 2026
Welcome to Danielle Gerkens. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the services offered by Danielle Gerkens (“Danielle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website, booking a session, purchasing a service, or participating in an offering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
-
Danielle Gerkens offers services that may include Reiki, energy healing, intuitive healing, intuitive guidance, psychic-mediumship readings, distance sessions, space clearing, group experiences, events, retreats, and related wellness offerings.
Services may be provided in person, remotely, privately, or in a group setting.
The nature and format of individual offerings may change from time to time.
-
Reiki, energy healing, intuitive work, psychic-mediumship readings, and related services are complementary wellness and spiritual practices.
Danielle Gerkens is not acting as a physician, psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, or other licensed healthcare provider through these services.
Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical or mental health condition and should not be used as a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, mental health treatment, medication, or advice from an appropriately licensed professional.
Clients should seek qualified professional care whenever appropriate.
-
Intuitive guidance and psychic-mediumship readings are subjective in nature. Information received or communicated during a session cannot be guaranteed or independently verified.
No particular outcome, prediction, communication, or result is guaranteed.
Information provided during a session should not be relied upon as medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
Clients retain full responsibility for their own choices, interpretations, decisions, and actions following a session.
-
Every person's experience with Reiki, energy work, intuitive healing, and related practices is different.
No specific physical, emotional, spiritual, personal, professional, financial, relationship, or other outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Testimonials, client experiences, or descriptions appearing on this website represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as guarantees of similar results.
-
Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until the applicable booking and payment requirements have been completed.
Prices may vary depending on the service, location, duration, travel requirements, event specifications, or other circumstances.
Current pricing displayed at the time of booking applies unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Special rates, promotional pricing, packages, or courtesy rates may be subject to additional conditions and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
-
Because appointment times are reserved specifically for each client, reasonable notice is required when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
The cancellation and rescheduling policy presented during booking applies to your appointment. Late cancellations, missed appointments, or changes made outside the permitted cancellation period may result in forfeiture of the session fee or other charges disclosed at booking.
If Danielle Gerkens must cancel or reschedule an appointment, reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative appointment or appropriate refund or credit.
-
Clients are encouraged to arrive or connect on time.
A late arrival may shorten the session so that subsequent appointments are not affected. The full session fee may still apply.
-
Completed sessions are non-refundable.
Refund eligibility for prepaid appointments, packages, events, workshops, retreats, or other offerings is governed by the policy disclosed at the time of purchase.
Unused services may not be transferred to another individual unless expressly authorized.
-
Packages, when offered, are intended for use by the purchasing client and must be used within any expiration period disclosed at purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, packages cannot be combined with promotional offers or transferred to another individual.
Any package-specific terms provided at the time of purchase will control if they differ from these general Terms.
-
Clients receiving services in their home or another private location are responsible for providing a reasonably safe and appropriate environment.
Additional charges may apply for travel, parking, extended travel time, or locations outside the standard service area when disclosed and agreed upon before the appointment.
Danielle reserves the right to decline, discontinue, or leave an appointment if an environment or interaction is reasonably considered unsafe, inappropriate, threatening, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, or otherwise unsuitable for providing services.
-
Certain services may be offered remotely through telephone, video conferencing, text, or other communication platforms.
By participating remotely, clients acknowledge the limitations inherent to electronic communication, including possible technical interruptions and privacy limitations associated with third-party platforms.
-
Participation in group Reiki, workshops, gatherings, retreats, corporate events, or similar experiences is voluntary.
Because group experiences may involve multiple participants, the privacy of information voluntarily shared in a group setting cannot be guaranteed.
Certain events, retreats, corporate engagements, or collaborations may be subject to separate agreements, policies, or participation waivers.
-
Danielle treats personal information shared during private sessions with care and discretion.
However, services offered by Danielle Gerkens are not psychotherapy or medical treatment, and communications should not be assumed to carry the same legal privileges that may apply to communications with certain licensed healthcare or mental health professionals.
Personal information collected through the website and booking process is handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and the practices of third-party platforms used to operate the business.
-
Private sessions may not be photographed, filmed, or recorded by either party without appropriate consent.
Client testimonials, photographs, recordings, names, likenesses, or other identifying information will not be intentionally used for promotional purposes without permission.
Separate consent may be requested when photography or content creation is part of an event, gathering, collaboration, or promotional activity.
-
Respectful behavior is required in all interactions.
Danielle reserves the right to refuse or immediately discontinue services in response to harassment, threats, inappropriate sexual behavior, discrimination, intoxication, abusive conduct, unsafe circumstances, or significant violations of professional boundaries.
Depending upon the circumstances, fees may remain non-refundable when a session is terminated because of client misconduct.
-
Services are intended for adults age 18 and older unless otherwise specifically arranged.
Services for minors require advance approval and appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian.
-
Danielle Gerkens does not provide emergency medical or mental health services.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact appropriate emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.

This website and the business may use third-party providers for scheduling, payments, video communication, email, website hosting, analytics, and other functions.
Your use of those services may also be governed by the respective provider's terms and privacy policies. Danielle Gerkens is not responsible for the independent practices or availability of third-party platforms.
-
Information provided on this website is offered for general informational purposes.
While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate information, website content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Danielle reserves the right to modify services, pricing, policies, availability, and website content at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Danielle Gerkens will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or participation in services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
-
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute relating to these Terms, the website, or services will be handled in accordance with applicable California law and any separate written agreement governing the applicable service.
-
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, or applicable requirements.
